Education
- University degree in the relevant field of expertise (Psychology, Social Science, Counselling, Management, Economic or Arabic/Farsi Language or any Social Science) with 3 (three) years of relevant working experience, or;

- Completed High School degree from an accredited academic institution, with 5 (five) years of relevant professional experience

Experience
- Indonesia national with good knowledge of, and experience in, project implementation, including managing administrative and operational aspects;
- Experience in the provision of community-based training activities;
- Proven ability and experience in liaising with UN, Government Departments/Authorities and other international organizations;
- Experience in in dealing with migrants, refugees/asylum seekers, livelihoods projects or community development projects, direct beneficiaries and/or trainings;
- Working knowledge of IOM procurement, administration and finance rules
- Experience in assisting emergency operations activities;
Skills
- Excellent understanding and application of ethical practices within the disciplines and a good understanding of rights-based approaches;
- Good communication skills, personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, drive for results, respect for diversity and creative thinking;
- Good interpersonal skills, high loyalty, ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and good working in team;
- Proficient in computer applications
Languages
Fluency inEnglish and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.

Deskripsi PekerjaanThe Migrant Assistance Unit contributes to the increased protection of vulnerable subgroups of displaced persons, such as refugees and asylum seekers, unaccompanied migrant children (UMCs), victims of sexual and gender-based violence, pregnant women, and the elderly, among others, through the establishment of referral mechanisms involving the active participation of specialized state and non-state service providers.
Under direct supervision of the Programme Assistant III and the overall supervision of the Head of Field Office, the incumbent will be responsible for facilitating access to basic needs, movement support and AVRR services for refugees under IOM care. This includes secure accommodation, distribution of monthly allowance, local transfers, resettlement and Assisted Voluntary Return (AVR) services.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Support the delivery of basic needs, movement and AVRR services for refugees under IOM care, including safe accommodation, distribution of monthly allowance, local transfers, resettlement and AVRR services;
Undertake regular monitoring visits to refugees residing in community accommodations to ensure that all services are provided in compliance with IOM Operational Guidelines. Provide site-visit and ad hoc reports to the supervisor;
Maintain positive working relationships with local refugee task force members, including IDC, Immigration and Police, local government, local representatives and community leaders in the delivery of project activities;
Provide timely feedback and advice to the supervisor on matters pertaining to the implementation of activities on the ground, including anticipating potential challenges and gaps;
Coordinate closely with relevant units, including Health, MHPSS/Protection and Empowerment and Community Liaison, to ensure comprehensive and well-coordinated service provision in community accommodations and other settings;
Support local transfers and international movements in close coordination with IOM Jakarta, including provision of transportation and escorts;
In coordination with IOM Jakarta, provide support for Assisted Voluntary Return (AVR) requests and database maintenance;
Support procurement in the identification of refugee accommodations that meet agreed standards at reasonable rates. Monitor the provision of agreed facilities and services, report gaps to vendors and document failures in coordination with procurement;
Review and ensure that payments to service providers and local authorities are correct and necessary;
Prepare incident reports, letters and support document translation as necessary;
Collect, update and synchronize statistics and RAMS data, including as relates to accommodation matrix and CBI. Prepare monthly statistics and other reports as needed;
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
