• Technical
• At least 10 years’ experience in operation management and international experience is desirable
• Some knowledge of health and safety standards typical of an international company (preferable)
• Prior experience with a natural resources or international company (preferable)
• Previous experience in procument and import/export producers
• Strong commitment to safety, ethical behavior and an understanding of risk management
• Bachelors Degree (relevant qualification and systems training associated with operations and logistics Management is prefersble)
• Excellent communication, international and leadership qualities
• Solutions-driven attitude with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
• Self-starter: Display a high degree of initiative and able to work indepdently
• Maintain an attention to detail and a focus on successful outcomes
• Ability to work under pressure and to project deadlines
• Communication
• English and Indo language skills at high level of proficiency (written and spoken)

• Manage the daily operations and logistics functions for Valentis Lao
• Manage technical and practical details relating to international and domestic equipment transporatation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation
• Manage domestics scheduling and logistical support for the company’s field programs
• Acting as a liaison to senior management and board of directors to keep them up to date with operations
• Evaluate and manage the costs of transportation, services and inventory in line with division budgets and operating strategy
• Ensure documentation for import and export scheduling and shipments of machinery and equipment is timely and accurate
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation
• Assist in reviewing and/or developing health and safety operating procedure for all site operations
• Strategic thinking and understanding of critical issues related to mining technical issues
• Demostrated leadership ability to achieve production and cost targets safely and efficiently
• Manage projects, build team, engage and grow employees and provide team leadership
