  • S1 in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 10 years accounting or company finance experience, with at least 5 years at management level.
  • In depth knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP), Indonesian corporate taxation practices, and international tax treaties, contract management, budgeting, financial planning and reporting procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong understanding of diverse business processes and back-office operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, ERP and information management systems.
  • Strong competency in online financial reporting and accounting systems (e.g. SAGE, Zero, Quickbooks) and integration with other business processes.
  • Bilingual (Bahasa Indonesia and English).
  • In depth understanding of and practical experience in managing all aspects of legal compliance for company operations in Indonesia.
  • Management experience in a multi-lingual, international firm or organization.
  • Management experience overseeing HR, legal, accounts and administration staff.
  • Management experience in direct report to company Directors and Shareholders, preparing annual financial forecasts, plans and company reports.


  • S2 in related field or MBA.
  • Accounting certification/accreditation.
  • Management experience in a consulting or services company.
  • Experience of setting-up or organizing transition between online accounts software and ERP systems, coordinating integration of systems across business functions.
  • Experience of working in the international development sector, developing competitive tender and grant proposals, and reporting to international donor specifications.


Deskripsi Pekerjaan

The Business Operations Manager role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Finance and Accounts
    • Hold primary responsibility for management of company accounts, through oversight and coordination of accounts team, ensuring orderly maintenance of records of incomes, expenses and assets & liabilities.
    • Ensure preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
    • Prepare company financial records for annual audit, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders as necessary
    • Develop and oversee implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for finance and other business functions.
    • Support development of business and financial KPIs and provide regular analysis and monitoring of performance against these indicators.
    • Develop strategy and implement plans for funding, cash flow and working capital management.
    • Lead or co-lead commercial aspects of contract negotiations with clients, vendors and service
    • Ensure compliance with tax policy and regulations, in Indonesia and internationally, through effective oversight of tax responsibilities, including effective tax planning.
    • Develop and oversee records management and good governance for all aspects of business operations.
    • Evaluate, improve and monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of financial and business processes to ensure that adequate internal controls are in-place and implemented effectively.
    • Grant management and reporting (multi-lateral donors/agencies)
    • Transitioning company accounts system into online accounting platform
  • Business Operations and Administration
    • Work with Project Managers and other senior staff to develop project-based operational budgets and reporting frameworks that promote efficiency, including through effective cost and resource monitoring against budgets.
    • Liaise with clients and other contracting parties in the execution of commercial arrangements.
    • Support effective general affairs, procurement, inventory, HR and legal functions within the company.
    • Liaise with banks and financial partners for optimal company benefit.
  • Business Strategy & Capacity Building
    • In coordination with Directors, lead 5-year financial planning as a component of business strategy development, translating this into annual budget and business operations plans.
    • Design development plans for subordinates, providing coaching and counselling to improve performance and build capacity.
  • Reporting
    • The Business Operations Manager is a member of the Senior Management Team and will report to the Directors.


  • The Business Operations Manager role will be based in the Bogor office.

Working Conditions

  • The  position  will  be  relatively  routine  in  terms  of  day-to-day  tasks  during  office  hours (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm)  however  sometimes some  flexibility  in  working  hours  may  be  required.
